Ars Technica said foreign media, Apple issued a statement in response to A9 incident, said two different manufacturers produce chips would have an impact on battery life, but only a percent difference.

Apple's iPhone in their 6s, 6s Plus uses the Samsung and TSMC's two manufacturers of chip, they are different from the process, but only on the battery caused by differences between percent and not as big as some sections of the media have billed.

After the new iPhone release, some media and technology enthusiast teardown finds the difference between mobile phone chip, in fact, using the same part number dealer is common in the electronics industry, on the iPhone such a large number of products, is necessary to meet demand and reduce costs.

Apple said in a statement, in the process of testing, using a continuously running software in a short time using my phone's battery runs out, to compare different A9 chip power differences. This situation rarely occurs in real life, and results of tests are misleading.

For this response, some foreign media does not wish to have two chips, like the iPhone, actual testing in the next 24 hours to confirm (or reverse) the claim.

Report: Apple's statement reads as follows

"With Apple on the iPhone and iPhone 6s 6s Plus A9 chip design, which is the world's most advanced chips. It met Apple's highest standards, providing incredible performance, and help getting a good mobile phone battery life, this has nothing to do with the color or model iPhone 6s.

Some laboratory testing methods, including by running a lot of programs, allows the processor to continue saturation work until the battery runs out, does not represent the real-world usage, because the CPU does not have this status in daily use, this is a kind of real-world battery life misled.

According to our tests and user data shows that even taking into account error, iPhone 6s, 6s Plus uses two chips on the range only between the percent difference. “
