United Kingdom Bristol engineers have developed a system, in the case of items without touching, acoustic composition "hologram" (holograms) to capture, hold and move small objects, make science fiction "traction beam" is expected to come true.
United Kingdom Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) report, the research team is currently test for objects the size of peas, can operate in 30 to 40 public goods. Researchers at the "natural communication" (Nature Communications) writes that this research could help develop remote surgical instruments.
Reuters reported that United Kingdom University of Bristol (University of Bristol) and Spain nawalagong State University (Public University of Navarre), editor-in-Chief of the research Mazaud (Asier Marzo) said: "just like mechanical waves, acoustic objects can exert greater force. Researchers use 64 micro loudspeaker sound waves to create what they called "acoustic hologram" (acoustic holograms), under control without touching the object.

Mazaud said: "sound waves cannot be spread in a vacuum, but in the water or human organizations. This potential will be part of the story possible, namely in the case of not cutting objects, microscopic instrument controlled drugs, blood clots, kidney stones, capsule or cell in the body.
Mazaud said, more powerful traction beam of sound, will be carried to see far greater object, controlled floating in the international space station (International Space Station) objects in a zero gravity environment.
