Amazon purchased thousands of trucks trailers in order to accelerate product delivery

CNET report, Amazon announced on Friday that it will start in the United States around using thousands of truck trailers to help transport our goods. Belonging to Amazon's just a truck trailer parts used for storing goods, they are marked with the Amazon logo, trucks and drivers are provided by third-party trucking companies.

Amazon's above actions should help it speed up deliveries. Although the truck is not used for direct delivery to consumers, but they can help Amazon to strengthen control over its distribution network.

Amazon spokesman said the company spent to buy a new trailer to help cope with increasing orders. New trailer for shipping between the Amazon warehouse and storage Center of the sorting centres and the delivery of goods. Amazon spokesman added that the company will continue to use the United States Postal Service (US Postal Service), UPS, FedEx, as well as mid-size and regional transport company to help distribute goods.

Still, Amazon continues to build its own distribution network, in order to achieve greater flexibility in the delivery and speed up delivery. Its logistics network in the future may be able to match UPS and FedEx, but for now, the company still mainly rely on external companies parcel distribution. In fact, Amazon has in some United States cities using own-brand truck to distribution of fresh products, and provide Prime Now express distribution services.
